Antigravity limits, explained
A provider-specific agent quota, influenced by your Google AI tier but separate from the Gemini app, Gemini CLI and Gemini API.
Antigravity is Google's agentic development product, not another name for every Gemini surface. It uses Gemini models and can inherit benefits from Google AI Pro or Ultra, but Antigravity owns the quota. Spending it does not empty Gemini Apps or Gemini CLI. Google's official plans documentation says limits are correlated with the amount of work an agent performs, so there is no honest fixed prompt count.
Inside Antigravity, Gemini models now draw from one shared pool priced by relative model cost. Supported non-Gemini models stay on separate fixed limits because their capacity is tighter. The product reports model quotas and reset times through its own settings and through the CLI's /usage panel.
The five-hour baseline
Google AI Pro and Ultra accounts receive baseline quota that refreshes every five hours. Pro refreshes continue until the weekly ceiling is reached; Ultra receives Google's highest five-hour and weekly limits. Google does not publish a universal token or prompt number, and it can adjust limits with capacity.
The weekly ceiling
Weekly capacity sits above the short refresh for paid tiers. Accounts without Pro or Ultra receive a meaningful baseline that refreshes weekly instead of every five hours. The exact reset timestamp shown by Antigravity matters more than a static table because Google explicitly reserves the right to change these limits.
One Gemini-model pool
Since May 2026, Antigravity's Gemini Flash and Pro usage comes from one pool. Cheaper models draw proportionally less, so the same allowance stretches further on them. This sharing happens inside Antigravity; it does not connect the pool to Gemini Apps or Gemini CLI.
Third-party model limits
Non-Gemini models remain on separate fixed rate limits because of constrained capacity. Antigravity's model selector can expose several providers, so Headroom keeps every quota row dynamic instead of assuming a permanent list of model names.

The tightest pools in the tray
The tray icon reduces every active provider to the two limits most likely to interrupt you. Antigravity joins Claude, Codex, Gemini and the rest without special-case tray logic.
Every reported model pool
Headroom runs the official agy client, opens /usage and converts each current model row into a meter. New provider buckets appear dynamically; vanished buckets become dated ghost rows instead of freezing an old number.
Warnings before the agent stops
Headroom warns once at your warning threshold and once at critical, then observes a cooldown. Stale or signed-out readings never trigger a misleading low-quota alert.
Provider-owned sign-in
Headroom uses the supported surface Google ships instead of imitating Antigravity's backend.
On Windows, Google's installer places the agy binary under your local app-data directory. The CLI signs in through your normal browser and stores its session in Windows Credential Manager. Headroom detects that installed binary, launches it in a short-lived terminal and asks for /usage.
The adapter normalizes model labels, remaining percentages and reset times. It discards account identifiers and never reads the keyring, copies a refresh token or calls an undocumented Antigravity service endpoint. If the CLI is signed out or its display changes, Headroom marks the reading for attention rather than inventing a zero.

Is Google Antigravity the same as Gemini?
No. Antigravity is Google's agentic development product. It can run Gemini and supported third-party models, and a Google AI Pro or Ultra plan can change its tier, but its quota is reported and enforced by Antigravity. Gemini Apps, Gemini CLI and Gemini API have their own limit systems.
Does Antigravity share limits with Gemini CLI?
No. Google's May 2026 shared-pool change combined Gemini model limits inside Antigravity; it did not merge Antigravity with Gemini CLI or the Gemini app. Non-Gemini models in Antigravity remain on separate fixed limits.
When does Antigravity quota reset?
Google AI Pro and Ultra receive baseline quota that refreshes every five hours, with weekly limits above it. Accounts without Pro or Ultra receive a weekly-refreshing baseline. Google says these limits can change with capacity, so the reset time reported by Antigravity is the useful number to watch.
How many Antigravity prompts do I get?
Google does not publish a fixed prompt count. Antigravity correlates limits with the amount of work the agent performs, so straightforward tasks can allow more prompts while long or tool-heavy work consumes the pool faster.
How do I check Antigravity usage?
Run /usage or its /quota alias inside the official Antigravity CLI. That refreshes quota status from the backend and opens the Model Quotas panel. Headroom asks that same provider-owned CLI for the panel and turns its model rows into taskbar meters.
What happens when Antigravity baseline quota runs out?
You wait for the baseline reset unless AI Credit Overages are enabled and eligible credits are available. Google documents AI credits as optional overage usage for Pro and Ultra accounts, with a setting that controls whether they are used automatically.
Does Headroom need my Google credentials?
No. The official Antigravity CLI owns sign-in and keeps its token in the operating system's secure keyring, including Windows Credential Manager. Headroom launches that CLI and reads only the quota percentages and reset times it renders; it never reads or stores the token or account email.
